Gage, Ronald Bruce

SWANSBORO NC: Age 62 died in his home suddenly on May 13th, 2017. He was born January 22, 1955 in Rochester NY, the son of Bruce L. Gage and Jean M. Gage of Walworth NY. Ronald was predeceased by his father Bruce L. Gage. He is survived by his wife, Janet (Preston) Gage of 43yrs, his daughter Carrie Preston and companion Shulton Thomas of Tampa FL, his son Bruce Gage and companion Ashley Hartman, of Lyons NY, his daughter Jennifer (Gage) Winters and Husband Dan Winters of Webster NY, his son Michael Gage and Fiancee Chelsea Fleming of Ontario NY, 17 Grandchildren and 3 Step-Grandchildren. He also was survived by Mother Jean Gage of Walworth NY, Brother Don Gage and Wife Dondra of Walworth NY, Sister Lori (Gage) Lutz and Husband Eric of Walworth NY, Brother David Gage and Wife Loretta of Williamson NY, and 5 Nephews and 3 Nieces. Ron was know to many as “Old Man”, he married his wife Janet on July 27, 1974. They had 43 wonderful years together and raised four children. Ron spent most of his career as a tool-n- die maker along with many other traits. Ron loved the outdoors, camping, hunting and working on race cars in his younger years. As Ron got older he enjoyed being outside gardening and doing odds and end jobs around the house along with having many friends and watching Nascar every week. Ron was a loving and caring Husband, Father, Son, and Brother, he would do anything for anyone and enjoyed his time that he spent with his family and friends. Relatives and Friends are welcome to attend a Memorial Service at 3:00pm on Saturday July 8th, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church 1767 Plank Rd, Webster NY. Memorials may be sent to
