ROSE/AUBURN: Age 61, currently a resident of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018 after a long battle with cancer. Paul was born December 15, 1956 in Lyons, a son to Robert D. and Virginia Bastian Thorn. He was a veteran of the Navy from 1976 until 1980. Paul enjoyed collecting antiques in his past time. Paul was predeceased by his father Robert D. Thorn in 1993. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Thorn of Canandaigua; 4 sisters, Helen (Bart) Howard, Amy (John) Murtari, Beth Schuldt and Brenda Thorn; 8 nieces and nephews, Ahlea Howard, Erin (Bill) Howard, Malary Murtari, Frank (Alaina) Murtari, James (Connor) Murtari, Lisa (Joe) Schuldt, Katherine Schuldt and Heather Thorn-Young; great-nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins and extended family. Family and friends may call of Saturday (Feb. 24) from noon to 2 pm at Farnsworth-Keysor Funeral Home, 5025 Main St., North Rose, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm. Burial with military honors will be in Sampson Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
