ONTARIO: Merle passed away on September 9, 2016, at age 87. Merle was predeceased by his sister, Lenora Dey; and brother, Milton Luke. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Margaret Luke; children, Lauretta (Philip) Rounds and Randy (Joanne) Luke; grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Todd (Nancy) and Merlyn (Claire) Luke; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends may join for a time of visitation on Tuesday (September 13) from 5-7 PM, at the funeral chapel, 1961 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY, where his funeral service will be held on Wednesday (September 14) at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Furnaceville Cemetery. Contributions in Merle’s name may be directed to Pines of Peace, 2378 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY, 14519.
