SODUS POINT: Carol Ott, 83, passed away peacefully Friday morning, October 18, 2024 at the DeMay Living Center with her loving and supportive family by her side.
Friends and family are invited to call Saturday, November 9 from 11 – 1 PM at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main St. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home.
Carol was born on July 30, 1941 in Rochester, the daughter of the late Earl and Joyce (Gilson) Reafel. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Wayne County Nursing Home until her retirement in 1990. She enjoyed nature and the outdoors, gardening, fishing, camping, mystery novels. She was a deeply compassionate animal lover, with especially her cats, and of course lastly but not least, her beloved children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Carol is survived by her three sons Calvin Lee, David Louis (Jennifer) and Stephen Lemuel (Laura) Ott; a brother Earl (Carol) Reafel; Grandchildren-Caleb, Brenden, Shalonda, Shila, Jason, Jacob, David Triton and Great granddaughter Caliah.
