Emma was born October 10, 1941 in Amarillo, Texas, a daughter to the late Claude A. and Elba McBride Pope. She was employed at Blossom View Nursing Home in Sodus. SODUS: Bernice was born on May 9, 1955 in Haines City, Florida. She entered Heaven’s gates on November 16, 2019. She attended Williamson High School and worked at Xerox in Webster for 25 years. Her favorite things to do were fishing, shopping, and going to casino with friends and family. She also loved attending school and sports events to watch and support her grandchildren. Bernice was a very special person who was always positive and full of laughter. Family and friends always had a special place in her heart. She leaves a strong legacy of what a wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend should be. Bernice Jackson, wife and mother of four was pre-deceased by her mother, Mary Charles Mccants-Steely (Cleveland Steely of Georgia); father, Lee Polen Dennis; and sister, Chris Ann Dennis. Canandaigua: Passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at the Ontario Center in the Town of Hopewell, NY at the age of 80. Bob was born on Sunday, February 12, 1939 in the City of Hornell, NY to the late Donald and Leah “Doty” Nesbit. He is survived by extended family and friends.  Bob was a lineman for many years and also had acted as a supervisor at a solar farm in Texas. WILLIAMSON/SODUS/SODUS POINT: Tamako DeVille Passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at the age of 92. Tamako was born on January 12, 1927 in Tokyo, Japan.  She moved to the United States in 1960 and spent most of her life in Sodus, NY.  She retired from the Meyers Community Hospital which had been located in Sodus. Tamako loved cats and was known to have fed the stray cats out behind the hospital. CLYDE: Age 72, was called “home” with his family by his side on Wednesday, November 20, 2019. Family and friends may call Monday (Nov. 25) from 1 to 2 pm at Weeks-Keysor Funeral Home, 5 Phelps St., Lyons, where a funeral service will follow at 2 pm.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lyons. Robert was born May 10, 1947 in Lyons, a son to the late George A. and Ruth Brundidge Lester. He was a past resident of Sodus IRA, where he participated in Day Program at Key Industries where he met his long-time girlfriend, Alice Rogers. He then moved home to Clyde with his family in 2014.  He also attended Day Program and made many friends at ARC of Seneca Cayuga. He was especially proud of his vegetable garden. NEWARK: Dana Ciamprone, 71, died on Thursday (November 21, 2019) at Strong Memorial Hospital. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Tuesday (November 26th)  at St. Michael Church, South Main Street, Newark. Entombment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Rochester. Memorials, in her name, may be made to  St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 501 Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 or St. Michael Church, 400 South Main Street, Newark, New York 14513. Dana was born in Schenectady on June 24, 1948, the daughter of the late Daniel and Rose Di Blasio Ciamprone.  She was a graduate of College of St. Rose in Albany with a Degree on Sociology. Dana had been a social worker in several hospitals in the Albany area before moving to Newark. Here she was a case worker for the Finger Lakes Catholic Charities for fourteen years.  She then was a children and family service specialist for eleven years for NYS Office of Children and Family Service in Rochester, retiring in November of 2011. Dana was a communicant of St. Michael Church and a Lay Associate with the Sisters of St. Joseph in Rochester. Tom was predeceased in death by his father Edward. He is survived by his loving partner, Karen Duemmel; his mother, Gladys Yarus; sister, Cynthia (Mike) Groth; nephews, Cody (Danielle) Groth and Ben Groth; great-nephew, Lucas Groth; along with several cousins and their families. Tom loved the outdoors, target shooting and spending time at his camp. He was also a loyal and loving friend. Hill, Ann Linscott (“Scotti”)

SODUS POINT: Scotti passed on November 19, 2019 at age 78.  She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Dwight Braman Hill of Rochester, NY, her daughter Carrie Hill Allen, son-in-law, Ted Allen, grandson, Charlie, and granddaughter, Kelsey, all of Bethesda, MD and many extended family members and friends. A native of Sodus Point, Ann was valedictorian of her high school. Shortly after graduating from the University of Rochester, she met her future husband on the beach near the Sodus Point sandbar.  Following lengthy careers as a teacher for West Irondequoit Central School District and as a financial planner, Ann and her husband lived again in Sodus Point from 2002 – 2013. She and her husband enjoyed sailing and kayaking on the bay.  A memorial service will be held at Asbury First United Methodist Church on East Ave in Rochester on December 7, 2019 at 11 am, reception to follow.  Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Judy retired in 1991 after many years of service at the Williamson Central School District. She loved volunteering for many different organizations. Most importantly she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
