PALMYRA: Pat passed away on February 8, 2017 at age 52. He was born in Newark, NY to the late Richard and Betty Vienna. Predeceased by his brother, Mike Vienna. Pat is survived by his siblings, Mary Vienna, Beth (Jim) Rahm, Jim Vienna, Sharon (Chris) Baart and Tim (Christine) Vienna; nieces and nephews, Caitlin, Ricky, Robbie, Ryan, T.J., Derek, Trevor, Michele, Mike and Johnny; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. Pat was an avid Boston Red Sox and Denver Broncos fan. He enjoyed golfing and telling jokes. Pat was very supportive of the Palmyra Community Center and other community events. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion and was employed by Jrlon in Palmyra, NY. Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation on Sunday (February 12) from 2-5 PM at the Murphy Funeral & Cremation Chapels, 123 E. Jackson St., Palmyra, NY 14522. Pat’s Funeral Mass will be held on Monday (February 13) at 10 AM at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in St. Patrick’s Church, 52 Main St., Macedon, NY 14502. NEWARK: Cindy Lou Butler, 57 entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at her home. Cindy was born the daughter of the late Clifford and Blanche (Carroll) Butler on Monday, March 16, 1959 in Lyons, NY. She had a doll collection that she adored, loved kitties, puppies, music and singing. Her favorite was Elvis Presley and Arthur Fonzarelli. Cindy will be lovingly remembered by her brothers Gene (Chris) Butler and Carl Butler; sister Karen Weed; numerous (60+) nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank FLDDSO for caring for Cindy for the past several years.  She lived at 103 Cobblestone and most recently at 104.  She will be loved and missed by everyone whose lives she had touched. Family will greet friends on Monday (Feb. 13) from 4 to 7 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 7 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. CLYDE: Formerly of Newark – Mary Elizabeth (Fredendall) Hoven, 89 entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Seneca Nursing Home. Mary was born the daughter of the late Lloyd and Marian (Crandall) Fredendall on Saturday, November 12, 1927 in Lyons, NY. She was a graduate of Clyde High School class of 1944. Mary was a member of St. Michael Church in Newark and the Catholic Daughters of America. She enjoyed reading, camping, traveling and spending time with family. She helped to prepare luncheons at St. Michael Church for several years. Mary had worked for GE Corp in Clyde and then as secretary for the commissioner for the Department of Social Services. She will be lovingly remembered by her son Donald (Linda) Stein; daughters Karen (Ronald) Lauster and Susan (William) Arliss; step- sons Richard Hoven, Bruce (Karen) Hoven and Eric Hoven; step-daughter Mari Elizabeth Cole; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren; brother Paul Fredendall; sisters Lela Toft, Nola Liseno and Martha Sutliff; sister-in-law Marie Lohman; many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband Camiel Hoven in 1984; sister Luella Dehm in 2014. Family will greet friends Sunday (Feb. 12) from 2 to 4 p.m. at Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. LYONS: Age 86 of Jackson St., died on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Rochester General Hospital. Harry was born in Waterloo, on August 11, 1930, son of Henry and Mary Litzenberger Sherman. He had worked at the Seneca Army Depot in his earlier years and operated thr Soda Spa Restaurant in Lyons (1962-1994). He also was a Rural mail carrier. He served in the Army in the Korean War. Harry was a member of St. Michael’s Church and Holy Name Society, Lyons Football Booster Club, where he announced games for over 18 years, Lions Club of Clyde, American Legion and VFW of Lyons. He liked going to the Lyons Community Center. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Helen Saler Sherman, daughter; Patti Jo (Fred Hacker) Thayer of Canandaigua, son, Bob (June) Sherman of Newark, stepchildren: Diane (Allen) Woelkers of Newark, Yvonne (Steven) Darcangelis of Lyons, Tony (Carol) Cippollone of Maryland, George (Lorraine) Fuller of FL, 3 grandchildren; Matthew and Michael Sherman, Emily Weir, several step grandchildren, several step great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by first wife, Joan Sherman (1990). Friends may call Monday, February 13, 4-7 at Boeheim-Pusateri Funeral Home, 77 William Street, Lyons. Funeral Tuesday, February 14, 12 noon at St. Joseph the Worker (St. Michaels Lyons). Burial in St. John’s Cemetery, Clyde. Memorials to Lyons Community Center or a charity of one’s choice.

MACEDON: Jeannette Aerene Mackiewicz, 83, entered eternity Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Clifton Springs Hospital. Jeannette was born the daughter of Fred O. and Elizabeth (Beaman) Behle on Sunday, October 8, 1933, in St. Louis County, Missouri. She was educated in Missouri, graduating from Ferguson High School and receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Home Economics from Drury College. She taught for many years in Newark Central schools. In retirement, she lived at Parkwood Heights where she enjoyed many friends and activities. Jeannette will be lovingly remembered by her brother Allen (Sheila) Behle; sister Elizabeth Ann Behle, and nieces Kristin Wheeler and Tricia Behle. She was predeceased by her son, Charles, and daughter, Bonnie.
There will be no calling hours. Family will greet friends for a service at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home in Newark, at 124 W. LYONS: Age 70, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2017, at the Leo Center in Rochester with his family by his side. Marshall was born on May 13, 1946, in Lyons, a son to the late Phillip and Eleanor Finch – MacEdward Francis. He was the Current
Commander of the Wolcott American Legion, Post 881, previously served one year as Wayne County Commander, a member of the Wolcott Elks Lodge, Masonic Lodge and the VFW. He operated a small farm and loved going to the Sodus Market with his wife Sandra. He enjoyed family picnics, camping, bowling, traveling and most
important being with his family. Predeceased by his sister, Dodie Mitchell and his brothers, Phillip Francis and Kevin MacEdward. Marshall is survived by his loving wife, of 47 years, Sandra Francis;
daughters, Marlene(Craig Perkins)Francis, Melanie (Aaron) Rowe; grandchildren, Matthew Crespo, Miranda Perkins, Alexis Perkins, Sierra Perkins, Alexander and Aidan Rowe; great-grand daughter, LeAnna Crespo; sisters, Ethel (Larry) Hall, Evelyn Bishop and Debbie (Richard) Groleau. NEWARK: Rudy DeMarco, 87, died Friday (February 10, 2017) at the Wayne County Nursing Home. Rudy was born on September 16, 1929 in Newark, the son of the late Anunzio and Margaret DeMarco. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict, being s tationed in Korea for a year. After returning home, Rudy spent a couple years learning the trade of barbering in Canandaigua and soon opened his own barbershop in Newark. His son joined him in the business but Rudy continued to cut hair well into his seventies. In his retirement, Rudy enjoyed helping his wife Lillian with her craft business. He was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Newark; a member of the August Mauer Post, American Legion, Arcadia Memorial Post VFW, the Newark Council, Knights of Columbus, Newark Elks Lodge. Rudy loved doing things with his family and having a friendly game of cards at the Elk’s Club. He is survived his children Tina (Jace Hetherley)Peters of Newark, Diana (Richard) Rainaldi, of Penfield, Rudy Jr. (Michelle) of Newark; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Rudy was predeceased by his wife Lillian in 2015, two sisters Charlotte Altman and Mary Jane DeRidder

LYONS: Formerly of Marion – Shirley Ann (DeWispelaere) Adriaansen, 79 entered eternal rest in her sleep at her home in Largo, Florida, on Sunday, February 12, 2017 in Largo, Florida. Shirley was born the daughter of the later John and Lina (Havert) DeWispelaere on Monday, September 20, 1937 in Arcadia, NY. She graduated from Newark High School, class of 1954. Shirley worked in the business office at the Newark Developmental Center retiring in 1995. She was a member of the Second Reformed Church of Marion and was a life time member of Newark Eastern Star, and past member of the Newark Grange and the Red Hats Society. Golfing, reading, dancing and traveling were a few of her favorite activities. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her sons Kevin (Michelle) and Todd (Julie) Adriaansen; daughter Michele (Dan) Napoleon; five grandchildren Wayne, Krystal, Theodore, Jamie and Desirae; great granddaughter Luella; brothers Roger and Ronald DeWispelaere; sisters Dorothy DeMay, twin Sharon East and Arlene (Larry) Aldrich; domestic partner Gary Smith; many nieces and nephews. Shirley was predeceased by her husband Roderick Adriaansen in 1992 and her brother Richard in 1973.

LYONS: Howard Duane Tierson, 85 entered eternal rest on Monday, February 13, 2017 at Newark-Wayne Community Hospital – ER. Howard was born the son of the late Isaac and Carrie (DeGroat) Tierson in Williamson, NY. He was a graduate of Williamson High School, class of 1950. After 40+ years at American Can Co. in Fairport he retired as a Machinist. Howard enjoyed traveling, fishing and walking. Also, he enjoyed meeting all the retires from American Can on the first Wednesday of every month. Above all else, he loved to spend time with his family and walking with his grandchildren. Howard was a member of Cross Creek Church and the Newark VFW – Post 2883. Howard will be lovingly remembered by his wife Marcia Horton; son Bruce (Sandy) Tierson of AL; daughter Kris (Mike Clingerman) Tierson of Lyons; step-son Mike Morris of FL; step-daughter Cindy Foggin of TN; grandchildren Dustin (Danielle) DeCook, Tiffany (Stacey) Brown, Joshua (Emily) Foggin, Megan (Tyler) Lamb, Jason Tierson, Brianna Tierson, Neil (Daniela) Tierson and Sara (Scott) Upchurch; great grandchildren Jaxson DeCook, Samuel Foggin, Liam and Maddy Gearhart, Ari Tierson and Katlyn Upchurch; brother Laverne (Dorothea) Tierson; several nieces and nephews. Howard was predeceased by his first wife Alice Tierson in 2004.

Three daughters; Carol(Bill) Cole, Myrtle Beach, SC; Caren(Perry) Cleaveland, Waterloo, NY; and Joanne (John) Huff, Clayton, NY; son Steven (Chris) Glanzel, Somerset, UK. Four Grandchildren and five Great Grandchildren. Brother Garry Glanzel and cousin Joyce Grass, several nieces and nephews. Dennis is survived by daughters Karina and Brianna Beam of Rochester ,New York, the pride and joys of his life. Brothers Randy Beam of Phoenix, Arizona, Tracy Beam of Greenville, South Carolina, and sister Kelly Beam of West Seneca ,New York, and longtime companion Bonnie DeSeyn of Newark, New York. Dennis is preceded in death by parents Adelbert Beam and Jessie Benson. Dennis Beam was born on September 9, 1960 in Canandaigua, New York and attended Bloomfield Central High School, moving to Newark, New York where he lived for many years. Dennis was a great athlete and loved by many that knew him, especially his family.

CLYDE: Age 85, passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017, at Newark Hospital. Madelyn was born in Malone, on August 19, 1931, the daughter of the late Howard and Jenny Avery. She lived in various places and worked as an RN for over 50 years, ended her nursing career by retiring from the Wayne County Nursing Home. Madelyn enjoyed reading, smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee, and spending time with her family. She is pre deceased by her husband, Edward T. Mein (1999), a daughter, Paula Saji, and a sister, Dorothy Forkey. Madelyn is survived by eleven children, Linda (Gordy) Lyke, James (Kimberly) Mein, Karen (David) Copp, David (Barbara) Mein, Robert (Cindy) Mein, Diana VanDyke, Peter Mein, Barry Mein, Marc (Melissa) Mein, Richard Mein, Scott (Barb) Mein, and a brother-in-law Mike Forkey, as well as 24 grandchildren, and 25 great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be Saturday, February 18, 2017, at the Becker-Keysor Funeral Home, from 11:00-1:00 with a service at 1:00 at the funeral home, spring burial will take place at Southside Cemetery at an undetermined date.
