PALMYRA: Died on Thursday, September 22, 2106 at the age of 78. Virginia was born on November 4, 1937 in Potsdam, New York the daughter of Nelson and Clara Brown Mallette. Throughout her life Virginia enjoyed crocheting and collecting pigs. In recent years she found comfort in reading and coloring and cherished her beloved dogs, especially Laci.Virginia was predeceased by her husband Lawrence in 2012 and her son Larry Jr. She is survived by her daughter Debra Waite; sons Douglas Waite and Dwayne (Fred) Duell-Waite; sister Elaine Clemons; brother Richard Mallette; grandchildren Brian, Danielle and Phillip; great-grandchildren Crystal, Chad and Austin and great-great-grandchildren Jadon, Brianna, Jake, Tyler and Carter. PALMYRA: Barbie passed away on September 21, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Barb was born October 30, 1954, as her parents’ beloved baby. She was predeceased by her father Thomas H. Gardner, mother Marion Doris Gardner, brother John E. Gardner, and nephew Steven M. Gardner. Barb will be sadly missed by her sister, Sharon (Kim) Griffin, brother Fred Gardner, sister Donna Gardner, and nieces and nephews Brenda (Martin) Morris, Teresa (Marty) Bates, Alisha (Robert) Rich, Tod (Carie) Gardner, Kelly (Glenn) Purvis, Steven Gardner, Nicholas Gardner, and Jason (Wendy) Griffin. SODUS POINT: Rosalie Reba (Look) Wiarda entered into rest on September 22, 2016. Rosalie was born June 4, 1921 to Clarence & Etta Mae Look in Altamont, NY. She was predeceased by her husband of 41 years John (Jack) Wiarda, Jr., & children Reverend Jacqueline Brouillette Vankouwenberg Thompson and Steven Wiarda. She was survived by her children, Ronald Brouillette (Ph.D.) and Penny Wiarda Shockley (Tim); her grandchildren Tim (Bessie), Tom (Jennifer), Todd (Diane) Vankouwenberg, Vanessa and Mika Brouillette, Leah and Travis Shockley; six great grandchildren; niece Ella Larson (Mark); and goddaughter Tina Calhoun. Rosie lived a very full, colorful life that changed and touched all of those around her. She will be greatly missed. NEWARK: On September 15, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer David A. Lancaster, Jr., 45, left this earth to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was born on June 26, 1971 in Newark, the son of David and Shirley (Reeves) Lancaster. David attended Newark Schools and had been employed by various employers in Wayne County. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed camping at Dutch Street with his family immensely. He is survived by his wife, Tanya; his parents David and Shirley Lancaster, daughters Ciera and Alexis, a son Maximus all of Newark; his sister Nicole (Jon) Lanse and he was the best Uncle D to Aiden and Anna Lanse of Newark; a paternal grandmother Eva VanGelder of Interlaken. David was the father figure to Tanya’s children Brittany, Alexis, Kanoah, Myles, Kai and Emma; many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend. He also leaves his beloved dogs Tango and Titan. He was predeceased by maternal grandparents, Jean and Arther Sipes, paternal grandparents Mabel and Ormer (Lefty) Matthys and Alvin Lancaster. See you Love you, Bye. Mrs. DeLeo is survived by three sons Ralph A. of Webster, James (Corky) of Newark, Robert (Valerie) of Shortsville; two daughters Debra (Larry) DeMott of Canandaigua and Donna (Tom) LeRoy of Irondequoit; a daughter-in-law Sandy; 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren; a brother Ron (Sandy) Cipriano; three sisters Virginia Compitello, Joy Wilson and Dolly McDuffy. She was predeceased by her husband Ralph P.; a son, Paul; two brothers Viv and Alvin Cipriano; a sister Marge Hennessy; and daughter-in-law Tharan (Tyner) DeLeo. WOLCOTT: Age 103, passed away on September 23, 2016 at Clifton Springs Nursing Home, 6 days before her 104th birthday.  She is predeceased by her sister Margaret (Bob) Jackson and cousin Elsie (Dick) McMillin.  She is survived by cousins Sharon and Larry Allen of Hamilton, Ontario Canada and friend Barbara Shear of Wolcott, NY. Lucy was born September 29, 1912, born to Rev. Forster and Lucy Prynne. She was a beautician and gift shop owner for many years in Wolcott. Lucy was devoted to the Methodist Church. She worked as an organist and choir member throughout her father’s pastorate, and for over forty years. The funeral will be held Monday, October 3rd , 2016 at 10 AM at the Faith United Methodist Church in Wolcott, New York. Graveside committal will be held Wednesday, October 5th, 2016 at 1PM at the Woodland Cemetery in the city of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. The family would like to give a special acknowledgement to Clifton Springs Nursing Home for their outstanding care and to Barb Shear for her faithful devotion. NEWARK: Age 89 entered eternal rest on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Wayne County Nursing Home. Mr. Provo was born the son of the late Jacob and Maria (VerMuelen) Provo on Sunday, June 26, 1927 in Williamson, NY. He was a graduate of Marion High School. Mr. Provo worked for 42 years for Fold Pak Corp in the maintenance department as a painter. He belonged to Local # 524. He was also a past member of the American Legion in Newark. Mr. Provo loved working with wood and enjoyed making house furniture. He also completed the entire interior of a new home. Mr. Provo will be lovingly remembered by his son Isaac (Beverly) Provo of Newark; daughter Debra (Edward) Schram of Greece; six grandchildren: Michael, Julie, Kristin, Andrew, Amy and Bryan: six great grandchildren: Reagan, Abigail, Quinn, Ella, Edward and Jonathan. Mr. Provo was predeceased by his wife Shirley (Gregg) Provo in 1997 and brother Jacob in 2011 and granddaughter Sarah in 1983. Fulfilling Mr. Provo’s wishes all services will be private. He is survived by his sons Daniel (Karen) Henner & David (Allison) Henner; daughter Nancy (Michael) Dingman; mother Joyce Loveless; step child Anna Richardson; granddaughter Addison Dingman; brothers James and William Henner. George is predeceased by his father Donald Henner and his brother Gerald. George spent most of his career as a logger and woodsman. He finished his career at Helluva Good Cheese. He was an avid Bills fan. MARION: On Saturday September 24th, passed away from this life surrounded by his loving family. Keith, age 60, was born on January 19th, 1956 in Rochester, NY; the son of Dee (Doris) Gallant, of Fairport, NY and Joseph (Barb) Gallant, of Wolcott, NY. He is survived by his mother, father and stepmother, sisters and brothers: Kirby (Patti) Santillo of Webster, Deborah (Corny McGuinness) Hastings of Fairport, Valerie (Mike Walker) Goodness of Fairport, Roy (Jackie) Malone of Lindenwold, NJ, Roger (Pam) Gallant of Red Creek, Danny Gallant of Fairport, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Keith was employed at Isaac Heating & Cooling until his health began to deteriorate and his disability prevented him from returning to work. Keith, a quiet man, had a great love for woodworking and carpentry, was a handyman and did as many odd jobs as his condition would allow for family and friends. He enjoyed being with his family and caring for his cats. He was an avid sports fan and American history buff and was loved by all. At his request, and consent of the family, there will be no prior showing or calling hours. Cremation and final resting at White Haven at the discretion of his family. ONTARIO: Sunday, September 25, 2016, at the age of 95, Betty went home to heaven. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years, Allison A. Fisher; son-in-law, Rex Judd; and her five siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Julie (K. Michael) Robertson, Sharon (Don) Bailey, Lori Judd, and Wendy (Jim) Roy; grandsons; sister-in-law, Shirley Frenchs. Betty was born in Hammondsport, NY on July 18, 1921 to the late Florence (Ross) and Leonard French. There will be no calling hours. A celebration of Betty’s life will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ, 1975 Ridge Road, Ontario, NY.
