Ken was born in Massena on October 28, 1942, son of Kenneth and Vivian Cantwell Gallivan Sr. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Naomi Pitts Gallivan, 4 sons, Kenneth IIII, of Front Royal, VA, Timothy of Columbus, GA, Eric of Marion, and James of Columbia, SC, 3 daughters, Vivian Deutschbein of Marion, Rebecca Gallivan of CA, Karen Jenkins of Rochester, NY, several grandchildren, cousins, nieces, nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.

NEWARK/FAIRVILLE: Donald O. “Moe” Scott, 63, died Wednesday (November 16, 2016) at Unity Hospital in Rochester. Don was born July 4, 1953 in Hornell, son of the late Clayton and Wanda Brubaker Scott. He graduated from Trotwood Madison High School in Trotwood, Ohio. For over twenty-five years, Moe drove truck for the Newark Florist. He enjoyed golf, hunting and other outdoor activities. He was a loving and caring soul-mate, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His great sense of humor will be missed by all. Moe is survived by life partner of 25 years, Hope Smith, daughters Amy, Jessica and grandson Gage Scott of Newark; siblings Donna (Tom) McCauley, Deborah Conwell, Sandy Zahn, Michael Scott, JoAnn (Charles) Betty, Sonja (George) Beall, Douglas Mason and Mark (Karen) Winchell; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and friends. Predeceased by a brother Jerry Mason.

strykerPENN YAN: John Robert Stryker, 22, entered eternal rest at Geneva General Hospital on Friday, November 18, 2016 of injuries received from an automobile accident. John was born the son of Lawrence and Kelli (Wilhelm) Stryker on Sunday, December 19, 1993 in Newark, NY. He was a graduate of Penn Yan High School class of 2011. John was a hard-working young man, employed by Sloan Landscaping in Himrod and Byrne Dairy in Penn Yan. His love for animals gave him an interest in the ASPCA. Fishing was an enjoyable time for John along with spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed football and baseball, cooking and most of all helping others. John will be remembered by his mother Kelli of Himrod; father Lawrence of Port Gibson; sisters Jacqueline, Jennifer, Jessica Stryker and Amber Corbitt; brother Andrew (Ashly) Corbitt; maternal grandfather Robert Wilhelm; a very close and loving friend Anna Marie Rumiano; many nieces and nephews; dogs Jesse, Brutis and Kojak and cat Chester. John was predeceased by his maternal grandmother Donna Wilhelm; paternal grandparents John and Phyllis Stryker.

NEWARK: Age 77, entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Clifton Springs Hospital. Roger was born the son of the late George and Pearl (Lounsbury) Bundschuh on Sunday, September 24, 1939 in Rochester, NY. As a heavy equipment operator, he worked for the Town of Perinton. Roger enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a great NASCAR fan. Roger found it very relaxing driving though Amish country and viewing the sites. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his son Rodney Bundschuh; daughter Rhonda (Jeff) Colacino; step-children Fritz (Lynn) Ring, Wendy Hill and her friend Jeffrey Krebbeks and Jeffrey Ring; sister Beverly (Donald) Mertz; several grandchildren, great grandchildren great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by his loving wife Marilyn Ann (Schwab) Bundschuh on July 5, 2014.
Family will greet friends on Friday (Nov. 25) from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Norman L. Waterman Funeral Home, Inc., 124 W. Miller St., Newark. A Funeral Service will be Saturday (Nov. 26) at 11 a.m. at Cross Creek Church, 3700 Route 31, Palmyra. Burial in Riverview Cemetery, Phelps, NY. Following the burial there will be a celebration of Roger’s life at the Phelps American Legion.

He was born in Salamanca, NY, the son of the late John Dallas and Mable Fluent Dallas. Richard was a charter captain operating Black Jaws Charter for over thirty years, they fished out of Sodus Point and Fair Haven Bay. He enjoyed playing country music and bluegrass music and did so for over forty years in several bands. He loved hunting and trapping, and he was an all-around outdoorsmen. He was often quoted as saying “move little, look a lot “when it came to hunting in the woods. He was employed as a gauge lab inspector for Xerox before his retirement. He is survived by his wife Ruth Irene Crowell Dallas, two daughters; Cindy (Stephen) Heald of Westbury, Kimberly Galloway of Wolcott, three sons; Terry (Sandra) Dallas of Red Creek, Christopher (Peggy) Dallas of Honeoye Falls, James (Christine) Dallas of North Rose, and Scott (Nancy) Dallas of Savannah, one sister, Gloria Rohland of Prattsburgh, over 125 Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren, as well as his best friends Dick (Helen) Wells and Stan King. Richard is predeceased by his parents, his sister, Linda Powell, his son, Richard J. Dallas (1995), and one grand son, Shawn (Grady) Dallas.

PALMYRA: Died on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the age of 78. Dave was born on October 20, 1938 in Newark, NY the son of C. Roy and Verona Kussie Lyon. He was a 1960 graduate of Cornell University and earned an MBA from Michigan State in 1963. Dave was a member of Western Presbyterian Church and the East Palmyra Fire Dept. He had served as Town Councilman in Palmyra for many years before becoming the Town of Palmyra Supervisor, a position he held until his retirement in 2010. Dave was currently serving as Chairman of Wayne County Water and Sewer Authority. Mr. Lyon was a member of the Marion American Legion Post 4141. The funeral home proudly flies the United States Army flag in honor of Dave’s service to our country. Dave was predeceased by his first wife Charlene. He is survived by his wife Sylvia; daughter Cheryl (Mike DeWispelaere) Lyon; son Christopher (Susan) Lyon; step-son William Loan; sister Marcia Lyon; grandchildren Erica DeWispelaere, Andrew and Dana Lyon; step-granddaughter Victoria Loan; special nephew Robert (Kathryn) Tucker and several other nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barnes is survived by three daughters, Marlene McIlwain, of Newark, Brenda (Ray) Hendershot, of Clyde, and Susan (Steve) Ferguson, of Clyde. She was predeceased by her husband, William, in 1998; three brothers John, Andrew and Edmon; a sister, Regina and a son-in-law, Gary McIlwain.

WOLCOTT: Age 69, of Wolcott, formerly of Sodus Point passed away on November 25th, 2016. He is predeceased by parents William Sr. and Lenora Huff; Sister Janice Collins; sister in law Wanda Huff; in laws Angelo and Evelyn Tremfer. Earl is survived by his loving wife Jean of 45 years; children Stacy Starling of Florida, Earl Jr of Wolcott, Clifford (Renee) of Wolcott; Grandson Levi Starling of Florida; granddaughters Destiny and Kendall Huff of Wolcott; brothers William of Fairville and James of Wallington; brother in law Barry Collins of Tennessee, brother in law Andy (Sharlene) Tremfer of Palmyra, brother in law Henry Tremfer of Sodus; sister in law Debra Turner of Sodus; nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends from Dundee, New York and here. He proudly served his country in the US Coast Guard during the Vietnam War for four years. He worked 30 years for the village of Sodus and Sodus Point Water and Sewer Department. He retired and moved to Dundee, New York and then moved back to Wolcott to be closer to family. He loved hunting, fishing and trapping.
